No. Self-drive sessions don’t require a boat licence. Everyone completes a safety briefing before departure and the controls are designed to be simple to use.

How long is a session?
Aquadonut day sessions are available for two hours, with three-hour night sessions.Β
What happens if the weather is bad?
If conditions prevent safe boating, you can reschedule within the following 12 months without an administration fee. Weather-related refunds are not normally provided unless agreed in writing before booking.
Can we book multiple boats at the same time?
Yes. Company groups can book three Aquadonuts for up to 30 guests .Subject to fleet availability, the full fleet can accommodate up to 66 guests.
How far ahead should we book?
Weekends, especially between 2 pm and 6 pm, are popular and can book up to six months in advance. Book early for peak dates and special events.
What options are available for New Yearβs Eve?
Aquadonut offers self-drive New Yearβs Eve sessions around Melbourneβs fireworks times.Β Book early and confirm the current timetable before reserving.
Do you provide an esky, ice and catering services?
Yes. An esky and ice can be added, and catering options are available. Select extras during booking or contact us before your session.
